Our Story
Hi! Thanks for reading about us! We are Kathy Burnside and Neysa Rojas of Blue Wagon Studios. We started Blue Wagon Studios LLC in the summer of 2024. We met at one of Kathy’s book binding work shops. It was an instant connection. We both had finally met someone else who loved paper as much as we each did! We felt that by starting a business we could bring our shared interests in art and many years of crafting to life. Blue Wagon Studios was born when we realized our passions finally met their purpose.
Our shared interests and love of art and sharing, serves as the foundation upon which we will continue to build our brand. Together, we are excited to explore new possibilities and promote a culture of creativity and encouragement for all. We firmly believe that there’s an artist in everyone and that it’s just never too late to start creating! No matter your age, career path or circumstances.
Embracing this means rejecting the notion of limitations and believing in the possibility of creativity, no matter how many times one may fail. We invite everyone to reflect on their own lives and consider what goals, dreams, or passions they may want to pursue, regardless of the time that has passed. The journey may be challenging, but the rewards of renewal and fulfillment are profound. Always remember, there is no expiration date on the pursuit of happiness and success. And not to mention, a junk journal is a great place to document these growing moments. We’re just saying. Wink Wink.
We aim to offer classes that offer supportive environments where ideas are freely exchanged and individuals can explore their creative potential and share their work with no fear of criticism. Through workshops, classes, and our own creations, we hope to grow our business to reach all artists of all ages everywhere.
